Silent Installation Fixpack 1 & 2 für 8.5.1

Als Ergänzung zu meinem Post lotus-notes-8.5-fix-pack-installation.htm...

Um das Fixpack 1 für 8.5.1 silent zu installieren, hilft Folgendes:

hotfix\fixpack.exe -install -noui


Nicht ganz sauber, aber das Setup läuft Silent durch.


UPDATE: Einfach nur  setup.exe /V"/qb+" bzw. setup.exe /V"/qn"  verwenden und wichtig die Anführungszeichen nicht vergessen.

When using the command line as referenced above, the files (beside others)

...\framework\rcp\deploy\jvm.properties

...\framework\rcp\deploy\install.xml

won't be updated properly.

They will stay on 8.5.1 level and won't be updated to 8.5.1FP2 level.

Beside this, I can't see the advantage of using fixpack.exe instead of setup.exe.

Most software deployment guys would complain about the need to run an executable instead of an msi in any case.
