IBM's internal testing on iOS 9.x devices has shown that the iOS 9.x native Calendar app may send invalid updates to certain instances of repeating IBM Domino calendar entries. Although the invalid updates are successfully thrown out by the IBM Traveler server, the iOS 9.x device may subsequently remove the entries from the device's Calendar view. The server copy of the Calendar entries remain unchanged and the entries still appear correctly when viewed either via a Notes client, iNotes, SmartCloud Notes Web, or any other Traveler mobile device.

NOTE: This issue is seen only when using the built-in Calendar application on iOS 9.x devices against a Traveler server
prior to version 9.0.1.7. Apple may resolve this issue at any time without prior notice.

The fix for this issue, which is tracked as APAR LO86164, was introduced in IBM Traveler 9.0.1.7 server. To prevent this issue from occurring, upgrade the Traveler server to 9.0.1.7 (or later). Click here to download the latest Traveler server version.

For devices already affected, users can recover their calendar entries by performing the steps listed in the following section.
Steps users can perform to restore calendar entries
1 On the device, select Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2 Select the IBM Traveler account.
3 Turn off Calendar sync for the Traveler account and accept "Delete from my device"
4 Power off the device by holding the Power button and slide to Power Off.
5 Power on the device after 60 seconds.
6 Select Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
7 Select the Traveler account
8 Turn on Calendar sync, which will re-sync the calendar entries from the server to the device.

So yes, you should upgrade to Traveler 9.0.1.7 to be iOS 9 safe!
